Cách dùng

• Diễn tả một hành động đã được lên kế hoạch hoặc chuẩn bị từ trước.
  • Ví dụ: I am going to meet my friend this evening.
• Dự đoán một điều gì đó chắc chắn xảy ra dựa trên dấu hiệu hiện tại.
  • Ví dụ: Look at those clouds! It is going to rain soon.
• Nói về ý định hoặc dự định trong tương lai.
  • Ví dụ: She is going to study abroad next year.

Dấu hiệu nhận biết

• Các cụm từ chỉ thời gian gần trong tương lai:
  • Soon, tomorrow, tonight, next week/month/year:
    • I am going to visit my grandmother tomorrow.
• Dựa trên dấu hiệu hoặc bằng chứng hiện tại:
  • Look at…, it is going to…:
    • Look at the traffic jam! We are going to be late for the meeting.
• Các câu nói về kế hoạch hoặc dự định:
  • We are going to start a new project next month.
